Welcome to Mrs. Carlson’s Blog! I am the 8th grade English teacher for the gold team. This will be a new and exciting year for all of us! Our goal for the year is simple: Working together to achieve success! Student success is what we are all about at Adams Middle School. Eighth grade Language Arts is based on the four processes of reading, writing, speaking and listening. In addition, we will be incorporating various forms of technology into our curriculum units. Both myself and Mrs. Evans, the 8th grade English teacher for the blue team, work together coordinating our efforts for the success of our students. We plan together; we teach the same lessons; we agree on grading methodology; we agree that what is best for students is what we should be doing. I look forward to a great 2008-2009 school year!
